GRAND VICTORIA CASINO CIRCUIT PREVIEW
Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin, IL, will host a WSOP Circuit from April 4 - 15, featuring 19 ring events and over $1,5 Million in guarantees.
Las Vegas, Nevada (April 2, 2024) - The Horseshoe Las Vegas Circuit concludes later today, which means that the WSOP Circuit is back on the road starting Thursday, as we travel to Elgin, IL and the Grand Victoria Casino.
The series on the riverboat will run between April 4 - 15, featuring no less than 19 ring events and over $1,5M in guaranteed prize money is up for grabs across twelve days of poker action.
The schedule will look similar to previous Grand Victoria stops, starting out with the $400 No-Limit Hold'em 30K Opener, a one-day event boosted with a $50,000 guarantee. Later in the afternoon, the $600 No-Limit Hold'em will get underway with the first of four Day 1 flights. Historically, the second event of the series have been popular, with 1,246 players taking a stab last year, generating a total prizepool of $641,690. A similar field is expected this time around.
There are two Seniors Events on the schedule for players 50 years or older (April 7 & 14) and one Ladies' Event (April 13).
The marquee event of the series will have cards in the air on Thursday, April 11. The $1,700 MAIN EVENT is boosted with a $500,000 guarantee, and players will have three starting flights to choose from. Flight A will have cards in the air at 11 AM Thursday, on April 11, and flights B and C will have the same start times the two following days.
Decorated poker pro Stephen Song took down the the Grand Victoria Main Event back in November, and will serve as the reigning champ until this year's Main concludes on the last day of the series, April 15.

All official gold ring winners from this WSOP Circuit stop will qualify for the invitation-only “Tournament of Champions”, which will be held at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, California, from May 22 to May 24. All 2023 bracelet winners and 2024 Online winners will also be eligible to compete in the prestigious event.
