DAVID YOUNT WINS TUNICA WSOP CIRCUIT MAIN EVENT FOR $132K

Las Vegas, Nevada (February 3, 2026) - Few achievements in poker compare with winning a WSOP Circuit Main Event, but turning a free online satellite seat into a WSOPC Main Event win worth over $132,000 is certainly one that will give any poker player pause.

Earning a seat in the $1,700 buy-in Tunica Horseshoe WSOP Circuit Main Event through a satellite on ClubGG,  Dardenne Prairie, Missouri’s David Yount lived every recreational poker player's dream when he turned his satellite seat into a WSOP Circuit Main Event title.

Competing at a stacked final table that included the likes of five-time WSOP Circuit winner David Moses and two-time WSOP Circuit Main Event champion Donovan Dean, Yount would go on to defeat WSOP Circuit grinder Dustin Murphy heads-up to win his first career WSOP Circuit ring.

While Yount plans to share the majority of the winnings with his wife Betsy, the newly crowned WSOP Circuit Main Event champion shared with Poker.Org’s Mike Patrick how he plans on setting $10,000 aside for a very special event.

“Yes, I had to negotiate with her on what the winnings go to, because I don’t get it all, it’s joint money, and like that, so I carved out a portion of it so I can go and play in the Main Event.”

Horseshoe Tunica WSOP Circuit Main Event Final Table Results:
