Las Vegas, Nevada (May 26, 2026) - Thirteen years removed from his WSOP bracelet victory in 2013, a WSOP champion adds another WSOP Circuit ring to his poker trophy case.

Over the course of three days of poker tournament action, Corey Harrison stands alone as the Caesars New Orleans WSOP Circuit Main Event champion. 

Finishing on top of a field of 420 total entrants, which generated a total prize pool of $636,300, Harrison is the final WSOP Circuit Main Event champion to be declared as the WSOP Circuit goes on break until the conclusion of the 2026 WSOP.

Winning his lone WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em event at the 2013 WSOP, the Louisiana native adds a second ring to his WSOP title list after taking down the Caesars New Orleans WSOP Circuit Main Event for a $122,221 score.

Winning his first WSOP Circuit ring in a $600 No-Limit Hold’em event at Biloxi in 2019, Harrison’s latest title came in his very own home state.

Speaking with Poker.Org live reporter Liam Gannon following his victory, Harrison spoke on his recent run good, which has caused witnesses to encourage him to make the trip to Las Vegas to the now-running 2026 WSOP.

"I used to play a lot of tournaments back then," the champ said about his WSOP bracelet win 13 years ago. "It was actually some of the dealers on the circuit, local dealers, who told me I should go out to Vegas and try the series because I was running pretty good."

Defeating second-place finisher Philip Lucia heads-up to claim the Caesars New Orleans WSOP Circuit Main Event title, we may very well see Harrison make an appearance at the 2026 WSOP.

With the Caesars New Orleans WSOP Circuit series in the books, the WSOP Circuit is now on hiatus until the conclusion of the 57th annual World Series of Poker, held at the Paris and Horseshoe in Las Vegas, Nevada.

After the conclusion of the 2026 WSOP, the official home of the World Series of Poker, Horseshoe Las Vegas, plans to keep the poker action going, hosting 18 WSOP Circuit ring events from Tuesday, July 14, through Saturday, July 25th.
