CHRISTOPHER SELAMI LEAVES BALTIMORE WITH WSOP CIRCUIT MAIN EVENT TITLE
Las Vegas, Nevada (March 3, 2026) - A new month is upon us, bringing with it a new WSOP Circuit Main Event champion out of Baltimore, Maryland.
413 total entrants entered the fray in the Horseshoe Baltimore WSOP Circuit Main Event, a culmination of 18 WSOP Circuit ring events that have unfolded at the Old Line State property.
Taking down the Horseshoe Baltimore WSOP Circuit Main Event, Los Angeles-based poker player and newcomer to the poker tournament scene Christopher “Eric” Selami went the distance in the $1,700 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Main Event to secure his first WSOP Circuit ring and the $128,100 top prize.
Prior to Selami's major victory, his previous largest tournament cash to date was for just under $8,000 (statistic courtesy of The Hendon Mob). Far eclipsing his career high score, Selami gave his bankroll a major six-figure boost and made his mark on the WSOP Circuit.
Speaking with Poker.Org live reporter Jeremy Guist following the biggest win of his poker career, Selami made it clear his attention remains on the WSOP Circuit.
“It’s going straight to the bankroll,” Selami said. “I’ve been pretty much underbankrolled for these tournaments, so this is just more entries to come. Tomorrow I’d be at another stop if I could. I’m ring chasing.”
