CHOCTAW DURANT CIRCUIT PREVIEW
The first WSOP Circuit of 2024 will take place in Choctaw Durant, featuring 18 ring events and over $1 Million in guarantees.
Las Vegas, Nevada (January 1, 2024) - 2023 was a massively successful year for the World Series of Poker, with records being broken at the 54th Annual WSOP, WSOP Paradise, and the WSOP Circuit.
We're now entering 2024 hoping to build on the momentum as the Circuit travels to Choctaw Durant for the first Circuit stop of the year. The popular series in Choctaw will run between January 3 - 14, featuring 18 ring events highlighted by the $1,700 MAIN EVENT with a sizeable $1 Million guarantee.
The series will get underway on Wednesday with the $400 Monster Stack. The event is scheduled to play down to a winner on Day 1 and will have cards in the air at 11 AM to kick off the new year.
As always, the schedule will include a Seniors Event (Jan 8) and a Ladies Event (Jan 14). The Mixed Game specialists will have to circle January 8 on the their calendar for the $1,000 Big O / PLO Mix.
The marquee event of the series will get underway on Friday, January 12. The $1,700 MAIN EVENT offers $1 Million in guaranteed prize money and players will have two starting flights to choose from. Flight A will start at 11 AM on January 12, followed by the second flight the following day with the same start time.
Four-time bracelet winner Brad Ruben took down the last Choctaw Circuit Main Event after outlasting a field 934 players to earn $250,140 and the first gold ring of his career, and is now hoping to defend his title on January 12.

All official gold ring winners from this WSOP Circuit stop will qualify for the invitation-only “Tournament of Champions”. The $1 million freeroll event will be held during the 2024 World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas. 2024 Online winners will also be eligible to compete in the prestigious event.
