18 July 2019 (Durant) - The World Series of Poker Circuit kicked off Wednesday at Choctaw in Durant, Ok. for the 1st of 35 stops on the 2019/2020 schedule.

Yesterday we saw 508 entrants take a shot at the first official ring event of the series in Event #1: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack. At the conclusion of play last night, Michael Reed found himself at the top of the chip counts with over 1.7 million after Day 1. The remaining 24 hopefuls will return tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. with sights set on taking home a 1st place prize of $33,140 and a WSOP Gold Ring.
