CARDS IN THE AIR IN INAUGURAL CAESARS VIRGINIA WSOP CIRCUIT SERIES

Las Vegas, Nevada (September 3, 2026) - The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit arrives at Caesars Virginia in Danville today, launching the casino's inaugural Circuit series and nearly two weeks of tournament poker that will run through September 14, 2026.

The inaugural Caesars Virginia stop features 18 official WSOP Circuit ring events and more than $1.5 million in guaranteed prize pools, giving players from Virginia and across the surrounding region numerous opportunities to compete for coveted WSOP gold rings.

The arrival of the Circuit represents an important milestone for Caesars Virginia, as well as the WSOP Circuit, as it continues to expand not only throughout the United States, but the world.

The stop also arrives at an important stage of the 2026 Circuit season. Every player who wins a Circuit ring during the year earns an additional opportunity to compete at WSOP Paradise 2026 in The Bahamas, adding extra incentive to every event on the schedule.

Caesars Virginia WSOP Circuit Main Event Begins September 10

The flagship event of every WSOP Circuit series, the $1,700 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event, begins Thursday, September 10, at Caesars Virginia.

The tournament features three starting flights, giving players multiple opportunities to enter the centerpiece event of the inaugural Danville series. The Main Event carries a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool, making it the largest guaranteed tournament on the Caesars Virginia schedule.

The Caesars Virginia Main Event Day One schedule is:

Flight A: Thursday, September 10 at 11 A.M.

Flight B: Friday, September 11 at 11 A.M.

Flight C: Saturday, September 12 at 11 A.M.

WSOP Circuit Ring Winners Earn a WSOP Paradise Package

Beyond the prestige of winning a gold ring, every 2026 WSOP Circuit ring winner receives a $5,000 WSOP Paradise 2026 package.

The package includes entry into the WSOP Circuit Championship at WSOP Paradise 2026, along with complimentary hotel accommodations in The Bahamas.

The added prize gives players competing at Caesars Virginia another reason to pursue a championship. Each of the 18 ring events represents not only an opportunity to win a Circuit title and gold ring, but also a chance to secure a package that can take the winner to WSOP Paradise later in the year.

For players arriving in Danville, the same opportunity is now available. With 18 rings up for grabs, each victory carries significance beyond the trophy and title. Winning a Circuit ring can also provide the chance to compete in The Bahamas without having to separately cover the tournament entry and accommodations included in the package.

That additional incentive makes every ring event meaningful, whether players are targeting the $1,700 Main Event, the $600 Mini Main, or one of the series' other championship tournaments.

Nearly Two Weeks of WSOP Circuit Action

The Caesars Virginia stop runs from September 3 through September 14, giving players nearly two weeks to compete across the 18-ring schedule.

The series includes several marquee events throughout its run. Following the opening weekend, players can compete in the $1,100 No-Limit Hold'em event on September 9 before the $500,000 guaranteed Main Event begins the following day.

The final weekend will feature several additional opportunities to capture a Circuit ring. The $2,200 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller begins Sunday, September 13, carrying a $100,000 guarantee, while the series concludes Monday, September 14, with the $400 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack Closer.

WSOP Circuit stops have become an important part of the tournament poker calendar, providing players outside Las Vegas with regular opportunities to compete for official WSOP titles. A Circuit ring represents a significant accomplishment for any tournament player, while the 2026 WSOP Paradise promotion gives this year's champions another reason to pursue victory.

For Caesars Virginia, the inaugural series also provides an opportunity to establish Danville as a new destination on the Circuit. The WSOP's official schedule lists Caesars Virginia alongside established Circuit venues across the United States and internationally.

By the conclusion of the series on September 14, 18 new Circuit champions will have been crowned, each earning a place in the WSOP Circuit record books and an opportunity to take the next step toward WSOP Paradise 2026.
