CAESARS SOUTHERN INDIANA CIRCUIT PREVIEW

Las Vegas, Nevada (9 May, 2023) - After traveling to twelve different countries on five different continents and awarding over $40 Million in prize money, we have arrived at the final stop of the 2022/23 World Series of Poker Circuit season.

Caesars Southern Indiana is back as a Circuit host after a four-year hiatus, featuring 15 ring events between May 11th - 22nd, to conclude the 2022/23 Circuit season. The property, located in Elizabeth, IN, is no newcomer when it comes to WSOP action, with a rich Circuit history dating back to 2005.

The series kicks off on Thursday, May 11th, at 11 AM, with Event #1: $400 No-Limit Hold'emfollowed by a four-flight $400 No-Limit Hold'em event the following day at the same start time. The second event of the series is expected to draw a large field, with 825 players entering the same event back in 2019 when Nashville's Aaron Gamino emerged victorious to take home a $48,320 top prize.

Other highlights on the schedule include the $400 Monster Stack (May 16), the $2,200 High Roller (May 20), and the marquee event of the series, the $1,700 Main Event

The $1,700 Main Event will consist of two starting flights. Flight A will have cards in the air at 11 AM on Friday, May 19th, followed by Flight B on Saturday. The three-day event will conclude on the last day of the series, Monday, May 22nd.

All official gold ring winners from the Caesars Southern Indiana will qualify for the invitation-only “Tournament of Champions”. The $1 million freeroll event will be held during the 2023 World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas. 2023 Online winners will also be eligible to compete in the signature event.

Here is a look at the full schedule of ring events:

Caesars Southern Indiana is located in Elizabeth, Indiana, right across the river from Louisville, Kentucky. After 18 months of construction, the rebranded casino opened in 2019, replacing the 21-year-old riverboat casino that operated as Horseshoe Southern Indiana. Guests now have access to a 110,000-square-foot facility, combining dining, retail, entertainment and gaming, with 16 live tables making it one of the largest casinos in the state.

If you've ever watched the World Series of Poker and thought that could be me, you're not alone. Since 1970, the WSOP has been the place where that dream lives. Most people know the summer series in Las Vegas, where the $10,000 Main Event turns ordinary players into legends. But the WSOP calendar has grown well beyond that. WSOP Europe and WSOP Paradise now bring bracelet competition to international destinations, and dozens of Circuit events run year-round for players who want serious competition closer to home. Whether you're grinding a Circuit stop or taking your shot at the Main Event, the hardware means something. Winning a gold bracelet or Circuit ring is more than just a trophy. It's a permanent record that you are a champion. For players in Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, WSOP Online has become something worth paying attention to. It's the only platform in the US where you can win a poker tournament for official WSOP gold bracelets without leaving home! The WSOP also offers deposit limits and self-exclusion tools because the best poker rooms have always known that keeping poker players healthy keeps the game healthy. From your first Circuit event to a final table in Las Vegas, WSOP is still where you go to prove something.
