BREK SCHUTTEN WINS $185,594 IN THE HAMMOND WSOP CIRCUIT MAIN EVENT
Las Vegas, Nevada (September 22, 2025) - As Part 2 of the 2025 WSOP Circuit continues on in the United States and around the world, every day, poker players win tens, sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars, all while punching their ticket to WSOP Paradise 2025.
Today is no different, as the latest WSOP Circuit Main Event champion has been crowned.
Going the distance to finish first out of 622 total entrants, tournament crusher Brek Schutten added another piece of WSOP jewelry to his poker trophy case by taking down the WSOP Circuit Main Event at Horseshoe Hammond Casino in Indiana.
Taking home the $185,594 top prize for his efforts, Schutten continues a successful 2025 poker campaign that has seen him win his second career WSOP bracelet in an online event during the 2025 WSOP.
Adding a WSOP Circuit Main Event title to a WSOP resume that already includes two WSOP bracelets and his first Circuit ring, Schutten’s forward momentum on the felt could not come at a better time, as WSOP Paradise 2025 draws closer and closer.
With every WSOP Circuit ring winner receiving free entry to the $5M guaranteed WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty at WSOP Paradise 2025, plus a package to fund their stay, we look forward to seeing Schutten and all of our champions from Hammond at Atlantis Paradise this December.

Jamie Payne wins 3rd WSOP Circuit ring in his hometown casino

A Chicago-native who got his start at the Hammond Horseshoe Casino, Jamie Payne made full use of his “home-field advantage” by taking down Event #5: $400 Pot Limit Omaha at the Hammond WSOP Circuit series.
Securing his third WSOP Circuit ring along with $12,151, Payne defeated friend Angelo Kozonis heads-up to achieve victory and punch his ticket to Paradise.
Chris "Buck" Bucceri gets WSOP Circuit ring #4 at Hammond

Coming into the final day of play of Event #7: $400 Limit Omaha 8 with the overall chip lead, Chris “Buck” Bucceri made full use of his big stack, going the distance to win first place out of 94 runners, good enough for a $8,422 score.
His fourth WSOP Circuit tournament victory, Bucceri plans on making full use of his Paradise Package by bringing his family along with him to WSOP Paradise 2025.
Jeffrey Stephens wins first WSOP Circuit ring and $72,825 in the Mini Main

Winning the second biggest prize at the Hammond WSOP Circuit series, Jeffrey Stephens picked the right tournament to win his first career WSOP Circuit ring.
Collecting a top prize worth $72,825, Stephens returns to his home state of Illinois with his first piece of WSOP hardware and enough money to buy into the WSOP Main Event seven times.
