Hosting the third largest World Series of Poker Main Event in history, the WSOP announced the official prize pool and turnout numbers for the 2025 WSOP Main Event during the evening of Day 2D.

Las Vegas, Nevada (July 8, 2025) - With registration officially closing during Day 2D of the tournament, the World Series of Poker announced the official prize pool and turnout numbers for the 2025 WSOP Main Event.

The third-largest WSOP Main Event in history, with 9,735 total entries, the 2025 WSOP Main Event boasts a total prize pool worth $90,535,500, with $10,000,000 going to the eventual 2025 WSOP Main Event champion.

“It’s been another historic summer at the WSOP with total participation on record pace,” said WSOP Chief Executive Officer Ty Stewart. “Customers have really responded to the WSOP’s move to The Strip and I think this number shows we remain a strong summer headliner.”

Along with the $10,000,000 top prize, here are the critical figures for the 2025 WSOP Main Event:

3,453 players do battle on Day 3 of the 2025 WSOP Main Event

With Day One flights converging on Day 3 of the 2025 WSOP Main Event, 3,453 poker players returned to the Paris and Horseshoe today, each one hoping to advance and have a shot at the $10 million top prize.

Starting today with the decisive chip lead is Ukraine’s Oleksii Kravchuk, who began the day with a 937,500 chip stack.

Notable players still duking it out in the 2025 WSOP Main Event include all-time WSOP bracelet leader Phil Hellmuth as well as fellow WSOP Main Event champions Damian Salas, Greg Merson, Johnny Chan, and reigning champion Jonathan Tamayo.
