THUNDER VALLEY CIRCUIT PREVIEW

The WSOP Circuit returns to the popular Thunder Valley Casino, featuring 15 ring events and almost $1 Million in guarantees.

Las Vegas, Nevada (January 9, 2024) - The second WSOP Circuit of 2024 is around the corner as we travel to California and Thunder Valley Casino & Resort.

The Thunder Valley series has become one of the most popular West Coast stops on the Circuit tour, with players praising the top-notch facilities and Ben Erwin's team of friendly tournament staff. With that in mind, another successful series will be expected when the Circuit returns between January 11 and 22.

Fifteen rings will be awarded during twelve days of action, and players have gotten used to a healthy mix of games and a wide range of buy-ins.

The 2024 Thunder Valley Circuit schedule looks similar to the previous years, starting with a $400 Seniors Event followed by the $400 Opener. Event #2: The Opener is boosted with a $250,000 guarantee and stretched over four starting flights. Flight one starts on Thursday, followed by two flights on Friday (10:00 AM and 3:00 PM) and Flight D with cards in the air on Saturday, January 13.

The non-hold'em players will get in on the action on Sunday, as the $400 Pot-Limit Omaha event gets underway, followed by the $600 H.O.R.S.E. and the $600 Omaha 8 on Monday and Tuesday.

The marquee event of the series will have cards in the air on Friday, January 19. The players participating in the $1,700 Main Event will compete for $500,000 in guaranteed prize money and have two starting flights to choose from: Friday, January 19 and 20, at 11:00 AM.
