The WSOP Circuit returns to Harrah's Cherokee for a twelve-day series between May 2 - 13, featuring 20 ring events and over $3 million in guarantees.

Las Vegas, Nevada (April 30, 2024) - We are less than a month away from the 55th Annual World Series of Poker, which means that the 2023/24 WSOP Circuit season is on its tail end with only three more stops to go.

Next up, Harrah's Cherokee. The North Carolina casino is a mid-tour giant holding numerous live poker records and is known for their consistently massive guarantees. This final Cherokee stop of the season will run between May 2 - 13, featuring over $3 million in guaranteed prize money across 20 ring events.

The series will start off strong, with the popular $600 Mystery Bounty, followed by a four-flight $400 No-Limit Hold'em event. The second event of the series has historically been one of the larger on the WSOP Circuit, with 3,180 total entries back in April, generating a total prizepool of $1,049,400.

This series will feature two Senior Events (May 5 & 12) and one Ladies Event (May 10). Other highlights include the $400 Monster Stack (May 7), the $2,200 High Roller (May 12), and, of course, the $1,700 MAIN EVENT.

The Cherokee Circuit Main Event is boosted with $1 million in guaranteed prize money, and player will have two starting flights to choose from. Flight A is starting at 11:00 AM on May 10, and Flight B will have cards in the air at the same time the following day.

The last Main Event in Cherokee attracted a whopping 1,659 entries, generating a total prize pool of $2,513,385 - the largest of the 2023/24 WSOP Circuit season. Tyler Barnes, out of Pinehurst, NC, emerged victorious that time around and will remain the reigning champ until the Main Event concludes on Monday, May 13.

All official gold ring winners from this WSOP Circuit stop will qualify for the invitation-only “Tournament of Champions”, held at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, CA, at the end of the 2023/24 Circuit season. 2024 Online- 2023 WSOP Paradise- and 2023 WSOP Europe winners will also be eligible to compete in the prestigious event.
