In a 'shootout' poker tournament format, you must beat all the players at your table in order to move on to the next round. For example, in a shootout tournament with 1,000 players, you would start out with 100 tables of 10 players each. Then, each table of ten would play down to one person. Those 100 remaining people would then play at ten tables until each table had one player remaining. Lastly, in the final table, ten players get together to fight it out for a bracelet!
