HORSESHOE HAMMOND CIRCUIT PREVIEW

The World Series of Poker returns to Horseshoe Hammond for 15 ring events between October 5 - 16.

Las Vegas, Nevada (October 3, 2023) - After a three-year hiatus, the Circuit-return to the Horseshoe Hammond earlier this year was a tremendous success, with the opening event breaking 3,000 entries followed by a Main Event prizepool exceeding $1,5 Million.

With that in mind, expectations are high when another Horseshoe Hammond Circuit kicks off on Thursday. The series will run between October 5 - 16, featuring 15 ring events and almost $2 Million in guarantees.

The schedule is similar to the last time the Circuit was in town, starting off with a $400 No-Limit Hold'em event on the opening day. The event has five starting flights, and the prize pool is boosted with a $500,000 guarantee. As mentioned, the same event in March drew a huge field of 3,173 entries generating a total prizepool of $1,047,090, and similar numbers are expected this time around.

The popular mystery bounty format will make an appearance on the opening weekend, with Event #4: $600 No-Limit Hold'em Mystery Bounty starting Sunday, October 8 at 2 PM. Each player that advances with chips to Day 2 will be designated as a Mystery Bounty. The bounties will range in value from $50 to $10,000, and will also include a $1,700 Circuit Main Event seat.

Other highlights on the Hammond Circuit schedule include the $400 Omaha 8 (Oct 9), $2,200 High Roller (Oct 15), and the $1,700 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event (Oct 12).

The much anticipated Main Event features a $1 Million guarantee, and a large field is to be expected at the marquee event of the series. The players will have three flights to choose from, starting with Flight A on Friday, October 12, followed by Flight B and C the two following days.

WSOP's official Circuit Media Partner, Poker.org, will provide coverage of the entire series with end-of-night chip count reports, interviews, highlights of big hands, and much more. Make sure to follow Poker.org on Twitter (@pokerorg) and Instagram (@poker_org_) to catch all the action.
