HARRAH'S POMPANO CIRCUIT PREVIEW
The Circuit is returning to Florida, featuring 16 ring events and over $2 Million in guarantees.
Pompano Beach, FL (January 31, 2023) - The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Series is set to make its return to Harrah's Pompano Beach, starting Thursday, February 2nd.
This marks the third WSOP Circuit stop of the year and is set to be a major event for poker enthusiasts in Southeast Florida, as no less than 16 Circuit rings and over $2 Million in prize money will be awarded during the 11 days of poker action.
The series will kick off with a $400 No-Limit Hold'em event boosted with a $50,000 guarantee. The first ring event of the series will have cards in the air at noon, on February 2nd, followed by Event #2 later that same afternoon.
Similar to last year's schedule, Harrah's Pompano Circuit will feature a variety of events, including No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, two bounty tournaments, and a $2,200 High Roller. The Main Event, with a $1,700 buy-in, is expected to attract the largest turnout, with a prize pool expected to exceed $1 million.
Flight A of the Main Event begins on Thursday, February 9th, followed by Flight B on Friday, February 10th. Players are allowed to re-enter once per flight. A whopping $1,000,000 guarantee is setting the stage for a large Main Event field, and the winner will most likely be walking away with a six-figure payday, a Circuit gold ring, and an automatic bid to the "Tournament of Champions.
Every event winner at the Harrah's Pompano Circuit will earn a seat in the invitation-only, Tournament of Champions. The $1,000,000 freeroll event will be held during the 2023 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. 2023 online winners will also be eligible to compete in the new freeroll format.
The tournament will also feature a number of satellite events and cash games, providing players with additional opportunities to compete at the tables. With more than 12 days of non-stop poker action, there is sure to be something for everyone at this year's WSOP Circuit Series in Harrah's Pompano Beach.
