HARVEYS LAKE TAHOE CIRCUIT PREVIEW

The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to Harveys Lake Tahoe after a three-year hiatus.

South Lake Tahoe, Nevada (17 Oct 2022) - The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to the Harveys Lake Tahoe for the first time since 2019. The Circuit stop at the scenic Lake Tahoe will feature no less than 16 ring events and will run between October 20th - October 30th.

The action gets underway Thursday, October 20th, with the $400 No-Limit Hold’em Double Stack, a two-day event with cards in the air at 11:00 AM. Other highlights on the schedule include the $400 No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack (Oct 24) and the popular $600 Mystery Bounty (Oct 23).

The $1,700 Main Event will consist of three starting flights, with Flight A starting at 11:00 AM October 27th, and Flight B starting the same time the following day. The final flight will get underway at 4:00 PM October 28th.

Michael Pearson sits as the reigning Lake Tahoe Circuit Main Event champion after taking down the Main Event in 2019. The San Francisco native has found great success at the Tahoe stop, with no less than two Main Event victories. Pearson took down the 2016 edition of the $1,700 buy-in tournament and followed up by winning the same event three years later.

The series will finish just like it started, with another $400 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack event, concluding October 31st to wrap up the Harveys Lake Tahoe World Series of Poker Circuit stop.

Any official gold ring winners from this WSOP Circuit series will qualify for the new invitation-only “Tournament of Champions.” The $1 million freeroll event will be held during the 2023 World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas. 2023 online and live bracelet winners will also be eligible to compete in the new signature event.
