The World Series of Poker Circuit is back at "The Bike" with 13 ring events and over $300,000 in guarantees
Las Vegas, Nevada (1 Dec 2022) - The World Series of Poker Circuit is back at the Bicycle Casino for another December series! The Circuit stop at "The Bike" will feature 13 ring events and over $300,000 in guaranteed prize money.
The popular Los Angeles stop has always attracted a series of notables, and local bracelet winners like Sean Yu and Stephen Song are expected to be spotted at the felt when the series gets underway Saturday, December 3rd.
Event #1: $500 No-Limit Hold 'em Mammoth Stack will open up the series. The two-day event has a $75,000 guarantee, and players will start with 35,000 starting stacks. The opening Saturday also features a $400 No-Limit Hold 'em event, with cards in the air at 3:00 PM.
Omaha players will have to circle December 4th on the calendar when the only Omaha event of the series kicks off. Event #4: $600 Omaha 8 or Better will get underway at 2:00 PM and play for twenty levels before bagging.
Other highlights on the schedule include the $400 Monster Stack (Dec 5), the $1,100 No-Limit Hold 'em (Dec 13), and of course, the $1,700 MAIN EVENT.
The $1,700 Main Event will consist of two starting flights, with Flight A starting at noon on December 11 and Flight B starting same time the following day. Local poker pro, Michael Jozoff, took down the WSOP Circuit Main Event at "The Bike" earlier this year and will sit as the reigning champion until this year's Main event concludes on Wednesday, December 14.
Two-time ring winner Sami Bechahed will come back to hunt for another gold ring at the Main Event. Bechahed won his first ring at "The Bike" in December last year, and is coming off a $274,916 score at the Choctaw Circuit Main Event a couple of weeks ago. With the Frenchman in championship form, he is hoping to make another deep run in what is expected to be a stacked Main Event at the Bicycle Casino.
All official gold ring winners from this WSOP Circuit stop will qualify for the invitation-only "Tournament of Champions." The $1 million freeroll event will be held during the 2023 World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas. 2023 Online winners will also be eligible to compete in the signature event.
