March 5, 2019 (Atlantic City, NJ) - The World Series of Poker Circuit is making its way back to the Harrah's resort in Atlantic City on Thursday March 7th.
The stop will include 12 days full of poker action with 13 World Series of Poker Circuit rings being up for grabs.
Action will kick off this Thursday at 12:00 p.m. with Event #1, the $400 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack. Next will be Event #2, $400 No-Limit Hold'em. This second event will be the highlight of the first weekend and will feature four starting flights. The first flight will get underway on Friday March 8th at 12:00 p.m. local time. This is a three-day event and the winner will be crowned on March 11th.
The Harrah's Atlantic City Circuit stop does not include a High Roller Event but there is still plenty of action to be had. On Sunday March 10th, the $400 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack will take place. This will be a two-day event and there will be a $75,000 guarantee in the prize pool. On March 16, the second largest buy-in of the series will get underway with Event #11: $600 No-Limit Hold'em.
The highlight of the second weekend will be Event #10: $1,700 Main Event. There will be a $400,000 guarantee in the prize pool and everyone will be trying to get their share of it. This event features two starting flights, the first one will be on Friday March 15th, and the second one will take place on Saturday March 16th. Last season, Soheb Porbandarwala took down the Main Event after outlasting 306 players.
Along with that are some of the regular staples of the circuit such as Event #5: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Big Blind Ante and Event #13: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo.
Two players will also take home a Global Casino Championship seat at this stop. One seat will be earned by the eventual winner of the Main Event and the second one will be earned by the eventual ''Casino Champion'' which will be determined by which player accumulates the most points during the 13 gold ring events. The Global Casino Championship is an exclusive, invitation-only event.
