Atlantic City, N.J. (21 Mar 2017) -- The World Series of Poker Circuit series at Harrah's Atlantic City has come to a close with the completion of Event #12 Monday night. In total, twelve gold rings were handed out. Most went to players who had not won a Circuit title before, some of which were experienced, WSOP regulars such as Vinny Pahuja, and Daniel Buzgon.

Buzgon, actually, went two for two in turbos at the Harrah's Atlantic City Circuit stop. The resident of New Jersey won his first gold ring in Event #6, the first turbo of the series, then went on to pull off an epic repeat win in Event #12, the second turbo tournament. The first-place finishes granted him over $20,000 and, more importantly, secured him the Casino Champion title.

It was Abraham Korotki who walked away as Main Event champion at Harrah's Atlantic City. The resident of Delaware went through 341 entrants and three days of tournament poker in Event #9: $1,675 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event to win $117,645 and his second gold ring. Astoundingly, this was Korotki's second Main Event victory at the AC Circuit stop. His first came in 2006 when the buy-in was $9,700.

Casino Champion

The last tournament of series made for an extremely interesting, Casino Championhip sweat. Edward Duncan, finishing 3rd in the Maine Event, gained the lead with 75 points. However, two gold ring winners at the series, Vinny Pahuja and Daniel Buzgon made the final table of Event #12.

In the end, Daniel Buzgon went for a repeat win at Harrah's Atlantic City, granting him a total of 102.5 points. The total secured him Casino Champion honors and an automatic bid to the Global Casino Championship.
