The Palm Beach Kennel Club series is complete after three more rings were awarded Monday.

West Palm Beach, Florida (Nov. 21, 2016) – Monday was the final day of the Palm Beach Kennel Club series. Maurice Hawkins won his eighth career Circuit gold ring by taking down the Main Event. His victory earned him $95,921. This was Hawkins' third career Circuit Main Event victory and second ring won here in his home of West Palm Beach.

Roongsak Griffeth, aka DJ Roonie G, won Event #11 for his second career gold ring. Event #12, which is the series' final event, is a turbo event that began Monday at noon. Play is currently heads up for the final gold ring of the series.

Next up on Circuit schedule is Harrah's Cherokee. The Cherokee series will begin Thursday with the first flight of Event #1: $365 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry ($300k Guaranteed). The Cherokee series will have over $2 million in guarnatees, inclduing a $1 million guaranteed Main Event.

The Circuit is scheduled to return to the Palm Beach Kennel Club for a second time this season from February 9 through 20, 2017. The series will feature 12 gold ring events, including a $1,675 Main Event.


 Casino Champion Race

Matthew Wright took the lead on the last day of the series by finishing in 5th place in Event #11 to add 25 points to his total for the series. Nobody that was within range of passing Wright cashed in the final event of the series. Wright finished the PBKC series with four cashes and three final tables, including a victory in Event #1.
