Wednesday features Day 2 of Event #6 and the start of the highly anticipated monster stack event.

Cherokee, N.C. (December 2, 2015) - Wednesday at Harrah's Cherokee features the beginning of the highly anticipated monster stack event. Last April this event was rolled out for the first time ever at Cherokee and it was a big hit. The tournament ended up drawing 703 entries, creating a $210,900 prizepool and awarding $43k to first place. This tournament begins at 11 a.m. with registration remaining open until 3:30 p.m.

This is a two-day event and has a $100,000 guaranteed prizepool. The main difference between this tournament and a standard $365 Circuit tournament is that in this one players start with twice as many chips. More on the tournament can be found below.

Event #7 - $365 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack - Day 1 - 11 a.m.

  • Players begin with 20,000 chips
  • Blinds begin at 25/50
  • Registration remains open until the beginning of Level 9 (~3:30 p.m.)
  • Re-entry is not allowed
  • Levels 1-12 are 30 minutes long, levels 13-21 are 40 minutes long and levels 22+ are 50 minutes long
  • There is a one hour dinner break after Level 12 (~6:45 p.m.)
  • Day 1 is scheduled to last 21 levels
  • Day 2 begins Thursday at 2 p.m.
  • $100,000 guaranteed prizepool

Wednesday's non-gold ring events include:

  • 9 a.m. $65 Mega Satellite into Event #7
  • 4 p.m. $250 Mega Satellite into the Main Event
  • 7 p.m. $135 Nightly No-Limit Hold'em ($10,000 Guarantee)

Event #6 - $365 No-Limit Hold'em is on to Day 2, which is the final day of the tournament. It began Tuesday at 11 a.m. with 380 players and made it all the way down to the final table of nine players. The final table begins Wednesday at 2 p.m. and will continue until a winner is reached.

Tuesday's gold ring winners were Mike Kaczmarek and Brian McDaniel. Kaczmarek won the six max event to earn his first career gold ring and $29,462. McDaniel won the PLO event after a long and grueling nine hour and 20 minute final table to take home the top prize of $15,900.
