CIRCUIT HEADS BACK TO HAMMOND FOLLOWING RECORD-BREAKING 2013
Oct 12 2014 12:22 AM EST

Season's premiere stop boasts 12 gold ring events October 16-27.
Hammond, Ind. (October 13, 2014) — The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind. for the fifth stop of the 2014/2015 tour. Action kicks off this Thursday, October 16 and gold ring events run non-stop until the Main Event final table concludes Monday, October 27.
Located just south of Chicago, Horseshoe Hammond has earned a reputation as being one of the premiere stops — if not the premiere stop — on the Circuit schedule. In 2011 the property hosted a 3,001-entry no-limit hold’em re-entry event that marks the largest field in Circuit history. The eventual winner, Aaron Bieck, transformed his $350 buy-in into a $124,000 first prize — more than 355 times his investment.
Looking back to last year, the property set another record — largest Main Event in Circuit history. The 1,717-entry field surpassed the previous record of 1,615 set by the property in 2011 and saw James Dorrance best the field to earn nearly $420,000.
This year’s series looks to keep pace with those numbers with a schedule that begins with the trademark Circuit re-entry event.
Here’s a complete look at the ring events set for Hammond’s upcoming series:
