THE HORSESHOE SOUTHERN INDIANA FINAL TABLE IS SET

Play has come to an end on Day 2 of the Horseshoe Southern Indiana Main Event as we have reached the final table of nine.  The two starting fields combined today and the final number of entrants was officially 301, creating a total prize pool of 451,500.  The final 33 players would finish in the money with first place taking home $106,103 and gold ring.

Just under 100 players took their seats on Day 2 and the play was very fast.  Half the field was eliminated within the first four levels of play.  A number of notable players were knocked out short of the money, including Amanda Musumeci, Aaron Massey, Aaron Steury, Jacob Bazeley and Nathan Bjerno.

Eric Fields, who won the $365 Pot-Limit Omaha with Rebuys event here at the Horseshoe Southern Indiana, was the bubble boy.  Eric Crain eliminated him to take the field down to 33 and in the money.

Patty Till continued her hot run at the Horseshoe Southern Indiana. The winner of the $365 No-Limit Hold ‘em Turbo event had already made three final tables this series.  With her win and two fourth place finishes, she had 105 points towards the Casino Championship.

Not wanting to take any chances of someone catching her, Till arrived early and registered for Event 12, the $365 No-Limit Hold ‘em.  She got a full hour of play in before Day 2 of the Main Event started and spent the afternoon jumping back and forth between tables.  She ended up finishing in 28th place for $3,021 as well as finishing Event 12 in 10th place for another $727, securing valuable Casino Championship points in both events.

The fast pace continued as we reached the final table just six hours after hitting the money.  Bernard Lee was the final table bubble boy as Lee got all-in with As-Qs but was unable to run down the pocket deuces of Sean Lippel.  Lee took home $7,933 for his 10th place finish.

Robert Georato paces the field with 1,636,000 in chips.  This is the third final table this series for Georato.  Although he is unable to catch Casino Champion points leader Patty Till, he can still earn his seat to the WSOP National Championship by means of a victory here in the Main Event.

Play resumes at 1pm tomorrow and will continue until we have a champion in the Horseshoe Southern Indiana WSOP Circuit Main Event.
