DANNY FUHS DEFEATS CHRIS GEORGE FOR OMAHA TITLE
After years of close calls, Long Beach, California poker pro Danny Fuhs can finally call himself a gold bracelet winner.

Saturday night Fuhs defeated a final table that boasted four bracelet winners and a ton of stiff competition to take down the $5,000 Omaha Hi-Lo event as well as his first bracelet and $277,519.  He defeated fellow a pro seeking his first bracelet, Christopher George, heads-up for the hardware.

This $5,000 Omaha Hi-Lo event drew 241 entries, generating a prize pool of $1,132,700. The top 27 finishers each earned a payday. Notables in the money included Huck Seed (23rd), Dan Kelly, who posted his seventh cash of the summer with his 20th place showing, Maria Ho (19th), Julie Schneider (12th), Mike Matusow (11th), and final table bubble boy, 2010 WSOP Main Event Champion Jonathan Duhamel (10th).


The final table featured two players who were in the line-up last year, Bart Hanson (9th) and Ryan Lenaghan (8th). These two players are now the sixth and seventh players of the summer to return to the same final table as they made in 2012.

The final table also featured five-time bracelet winner Jeffrey Lisandro (7th), bracelet winner Viacheslav Zhukov (5th), bracelet winner Brian Hastings (4th), and bracelet winner Robert Mizrachi (3rd) who was playing on the same livestreaming final table his brother Michael Mizrachi played on just one day prior.
