MAIN EVENT CHAMPIONSHIP UNDERWAY AT PALM BEACH
The Main Event Championship is underway at Palm Beach.

The $1,675 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em tournament begins Saturday with two starting flights.  The first session began at 11 am and will play 11 levels.  There is no dinner break.  That means the session lasts until about 7:30 pm.

The second session begins at 7 pm and will also play 11 levels.  That session is expected to last until about 2:30 am.

Players start with 20,000 in chips.

Players may register for either starting session all the way up until either -- (1) the first session ends for the night, or (2) Day Two begins on Sunday at noon.  So, players can come to the Main Event and register as late as noon on Sunday, and still get a seat.

Players will re-start on Day Two which is Sunday at noon.

Last year's championship event drew 778 entries.  James Harnden, from Canada won the gold ring and collected $226,395 in prize money.

The Main Event final table takes place on Monday.  There will be livestreaming of the final table on ESPN3 and WSOP.com.  We will be going on air once we get to the final nine players and the final table gets underway.

The action is on a five-minute delay.  The stream is hosted by Bernard Lee.  He will be joined by guest commentators, one of which will be Florida native Jason Lee.
