TUNICA, MS – Paul Wasicka is the end of Day Two chip leader of the 2009-2010 Harrah’s Tunica WSOP Circuit Championship Event.
The 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up heads into the final table with nearly a quarter of the chips in play.
Joining Wasicka at the final table are 2009 EPT Barcelona Main Event champion, Carter Phillips; reigning Harrah’s Tunica Circuit Event Champion, Dwyte Pilgrim; and online pro, Matt "allinat420" Stout.
35 players began Day Two with only 17 remaining just before the dinner break. The remaining 8 players were eliminated within the next three hours to set the final table.
Just before 11:00 pm, Robert Thornhill moved his short stack all-in with pocket aces and got a call from John "Cowboy" Land with pocket kings. The aces held, crippling Land. Land was eliminated a few hands later and the final nine were set.
