WSOP CIRCUIT COMES TO HARRAH
Atlantic City, NJ – World Series of Poker action returns to the east coast as Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City hosts WSOP Circuit Events December 4th through December 20th.

The fourth stop of the 2009/2010 season, the WSOP Circuit Events at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City draws thousands of players from all along the Atlantic Coast, making for one of the larger stops on the schedule. 

New on the schedule are two deep stack events, the first taking place Tuesday, December 15th with a $1,600 buy-in and 20,000 in starting chips. The second deep stack tournament begins Friday, December 18th with a $2,150 buy-in and starting stack of 25,000.

The Harrah’s Atlantic City ladies no limit hold’em championship event will be held Saturday, December 12th. The reigning women’s champion is Alida Veliu of Wyckoff, NJ.

The Harrah’s AC Circuit Main Event will be held Sunday, December 13th.  Last year’s champion, Brent Roberts, beat out a field of 179 to take home over $280,000 and the WSOP Circuit Main Event championship ring. Roberts defeated Phillip Reed heads-up for the title.

With most of the action taking place in the ballroom at Harrah’s, the poker room will host its regular daily tournaments and cash games.

Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City hosted the first ever World Series of Poker Circuit Event back in January of 2005. Seven tournaments were held during the inaugural event.

The Harrah’s AC circuit has grown increasingly since, with a total of 17 events scheduled this year.

Many top-rate pros such as Erick Lindgren and Chris "Jesus" Ferguson have flocked to Harrah’s Atlantic City over the years to compete in the WSOP Circuit Events.
