John McDonald,a 38-year-old real estate investor from Marshall, Minnesota playing his first big tournament, will have the chip lead going into the final day of the WSOP Circuit main event at Horseshoe Council Bluffs. Play will start at 2 p.m. with McDonald owning 525,000 of the 1.453 million chips in play. The final nine was reached after David Hiers was knocked out on the bubble.

Alan Engel, whose biggest cash is $120,000 for a third at a Borgata Deep Stack event, will be the only pro at tomorrow's table.
