LAS VEGAS, June 2, 2008 –  For the first time ever, all World Series of Poker bracelet winners dating back to 1970 have been granted  "Diamond" status in Harrah's award-winning  Total Rewards loyalty program  through March 2009.

"The WSOP bracelet is the most coveted prize in gaming," said Jeffrey Pollack, World Series of Poker Commissioner. "We want every bracelet holder to know how important they are to our company and this gesture is an important step in that direction."

Diamond status provides players with a series of benefits including free show tickets, access to Diamond Lounges around the country, and priority service at participating restaurants, clubs, and hotel front desks. Bracelet holders will also receive access to a VIP registration line for all World Series of Poker events.

"We want to ensure that these valued customers get outstanding service such as expedited check-in and access to the diamond lounge so their experience at the Rio and other Harrah's resorts are as seamless as possible," said David Norton, senior vice president relationship marketing for Harrah's Entertainment.

Qualifying players should stop by the special Total Rewards desk adjacent to the World Series of Poker tournament area at the Rio® All-Suite Hotel and Casino to pick up their card.  For more information on Total Rewards, visit www.harrahs.com/total rewards.
