Player Bio

  • After winning a bracelet at the 1992 WSOP $5k Omaha Event, Corkins took an 11-year hiatus from poker and returned back home to Alabama where he raised cattle.
  • Returned to the game in 2003 and has since won the 2003 WPT World Poker finals, finished second in the 2005 WSOP Tournament of Champions and won a bracelet in the $2,500 six-handed event at the 2007 WSOP
  • Fun fact: Father taught him how to play poker
