EVAN SANDBERG GOES BACK-TO-BACK IN LAKE TAHOE WSOP CIRCUIT MAIN EVENT
Las Vegas, Nevada (November 4, 2025) - It’s hard enough to win a poker tournament, but winning back-to-back WSOP Circuit Main Events is an accomplishment only the most skilled poker players can achieve.
Proving his acumen at the poker table and continuing his reign as defending Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe WSOP Circuit Main Event champion, professional poker player Evan Sandberg won the recent $1,700 WSOP Circuit Main Event in Lake Tahoe, after winning the very same event in 2024.
Taking home $125,269 and his second WSOP Circuit ring, the two-time WSOP bracelet winner continues to add to his growing WSOP trophy collection.
Despite entering heads-up play with a 2-to-1 chip disadvantage against the eventual runner-up Francisco Trujillo (2nd place for $85,639), Sandberg drew from his wealth of experience of success on the felt to go the distance and defend his title.
