Nassau, Bahamas (December 18, 2025) - After more than a week of action at the poker tables, a new WSOP Paradise Super Main champion has been crowned at Atlantis Paradise Bahamas. Out of the 2,891 total entrants who fired at least one bullet in the record-breaking $25,000 Super Main Event, Austrian Bernhard Binder is the only player who remains, defeating French billionaire Jean-Noel Thorel heads-up to claim the $10 million top prize and the stunning WSOP Super Main Event bracelet. After third-place finisher Belarmino De Souza was eliminated in third place ($4,000,000 score), Thorel and Paradise’s newest champion would begin a heads-up duel that spanned more than three hours. Both players would remain nearly even stacked for much of their heads-up match, but once Binder started slowly pulling ahead, it was only a matter of time before fireworks erupted at the feature table. Binder and Thorel embracing after the final hand. The Final Hand of the WSOP Super Main Event First to act preflop with king-queen offsuit, Thorel raised big and was met with a jam from Binder, who held ace-eight of clubs. Thorel would snap call, and would see he was behind Binder’s ace before the runout. With the 9-6-2 rainbow flop, Binder’s ace-high held firm, meaning Thorel would need some help from the dealer if he was to successfully double and stay alive. Unfortunately for the French billionaire, the 3 on the turn and the 8 on the river would provide no help, officially making Bernhard Binder the 2025 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event champion. Bernhard Binder becomes the 2025 WSOP Super Main Event champion Once Binder officially locked up the 2025 WSOP Super Main Event title, his rail, who had been serenading all those in attendance throughout the day, rushed the feature table to congratulate their poker comrade. Having a career live tournament earnings total of $328,000 and the largest tournament cash of $64,500 (Hendon Mob), with his $10,000,000 victory in the Super Main Event, Binder essentially increased his total career earnings 30x, changing his life and poker career forever. Speaking with Jeff Platt following his historic victory, Binder touched on how much it meant to him having so his vocal rail of supporters in attendance for his win. “It was absolutely amazing. I think most of these guys already had their flight back, but they all rebooked their flight, which is a crazy thing to do. I’m so grateful for everybody here.” Speaking on his heads-up match with Jean-Noel Thorel, Binder reflected on how the French poker player put him to the test. “It was stressful. To be honest, heads-up is not my specialty. When you’re a tournament player, you rarely play heads-up, and with big blind ante, it’s a completely different game. I’m not really that comfortable with it, and I hope I didn’t make too many big mistakes, but none of this matters now, I won it.” Congratulations to Bernhard Binder for his career win in the WSOP Paradise Super Main Event, and thank you to not only our players, but the staff and media that helped make WSOP Paradise 2025 a truly historic poker tournament series. The Mizrachis: A Poker Family Like No Other

I recently sat down with Paul Mizrachi to talk about poker and family. Paul just turned 21, and, unsurprisingly, he’s as obsessed with the game as the rest of the Mizrachi tribe. His father, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, is the reigning World Champion and an eight-time WSOP bracelet winner, so poker has always been more than a pastime; it’s the family business.
