2025 WSOP MYSTERY MILLIONS DRAWS BIGGEST FIELD IN EVENT HISTORY

One of the most popular bracelet events at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), the $1,000 Mystery Millions at the 2025 WSOP draws the largest field in the event’s history.

Las Vegas, Nevada (June 2, 2025) - One week into the 2025 WSOP, Paris and Horseshoe have already seen impressive crowds of poker players battle it out for life-changing scores and glory.

While bracelet winners have already been crowned adding their names to WSOP history, all eyes have been on the $1,000 Mystery Millions as the remaining players duke it out at the final table.

The fourth addition of one of poker’s most popular bounty events, with 19,654 total entries, the 2025 Mystery Millions officially fielded the biggest turnout in the event’s history.

Although the Mystery Millions has yet to declare a winner, players have already scored major pay days on stage with the help of Jeff Platt and WSOP Media Team member Jesse Fullen.

Tyler Montoya and Thomas Zanot win $1,000,000 Mystery Bounties

Only one hour into Day Two of the $1,000 Mystery Millions, Las Vegas-based poker pro Tyler Montoya pulled the first $1,000,000 bounty of the day.

“Oh my f— God!” the 23-year-old exclaimed after revealing the white slip of paper showing a 1 accompanied by six zeros.

A newly minted millionaire, Montoya shared with all those in attendance his love for the WSOP.

“The rich get richer,” Montoya said on the featured stage with Jeff Platt. “But besides that, the WSOP is the best venue on the planet of f— Earth, let’s go baby!”

In an amazing gesture of generosity, after returning to his seat Montoya announced to the table that he would be giving each player $10,000 from his $1,000,000 bounty. Montoya made it a point not only to show love to the WSOP, but also to his fellow members of the poker community.

A little over an hour later, a cascade of jealous boos would descend upon the Paris Ballroom as another Las Vegas-based poker pro won the final $1,000,000 mystery bounty.

Famous for winning a $6.4 million Pai Gow Progressive Jackpot at Caesars Entertainment’s Flamingo Hotel and Casino in 2023, Thomas Zanot displayed his incredible “run good” when he pulled the final $1,000,000 bounty.

“I’ve envisioned this moment of pulling the $1,000,000 bounty and everyone booing me, just reveling in the glory” Zanot said when interviewed by the WSOP Media Team. “It finally manifested here today.”

Although Montoya and Zanot would fail to reach the final table of the Mystery Millions, both players surely feel like big winners having won bounties equal to the first place prize.
