WORLD SERIES OF POKER ADDS ONLINE BRACELETS TO 2021 SERIES

LAS VEGAS (Sept. 17, 2021) – The World Series of Poker® (WSOP®) returns to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in less than two weeks, and is proud to announce the return of online WSOP® gold bracelet events throughout the 2021 tournament.

Each Sunday throughout the tournament, WSOP.com will host a gold bracelet tournament online for Nevada and New Jersey players. Most tournaments will start at 5:30 p.m. PST / 8:30 p.m. EST beginning on Sunday, Oct. 3 with a special “Double Bracelet Day” through Sunday, Nov. 21 with a “Mini Main Event.”

In total, throughout the 2021 WSOP® event, 10 gold bracelets will be contested on the Nevada and New Jersey poker network and one culminating bracelet for players on WSOP.com Pennsylvania. Previously in 2019, the WSOP held 9 online bracelet events concurrent to the offline series with a total prize pool of $9,880,110. World Series of Poker online bracelets have been a part of the live festival since 2015.

“Online Poker is an important form of tournament poker in 2021,” said Senior Vice President of the World Series of Poker at Caesars Entertainment, Ty Stewart. “Our philosophy has always been to provide players the most options of any poker festival in the world. WSOP.com online bracelets have a strong track record of significant prize pools, making them a great option for players who want to multi-table while in a live tournament, or play from the convenience of their home or hotel.”

Highlights from the 2021 WSOP® event include the return of the popular “Big 500” $500 Buy-In No Limit Hold Em, the $7,777 “Lucky Sevens” High Roller and a special $666 NLHE event to be held on Halloween. Both Pennsylvania and Nevada/New Jersey will offer the same “Mini Main Event” freezeout for $1,000 on Sunday, Nov. 21, but with separate tournament fields.

Additionally, WSOP® organizers announced there will be two “Twenty-Five Seat Scramble” events this year on Sunday, Oct. 31 and Tuesday, Nov. 2. Traditionally one of the best routes for players to earn entry into the $10,000 No Limit Hold Em Championship, better known as the “Main Event,” the popular mega-satellite events will feature a $215 buy-in with 25 seats or $250,000 guaranteed prize pool on each occurrence.

WSOP.COM is the player’s headquarters for satellite action, having already awarded more than 100 WSOP tournament seats for 2021. WSOP.COM will offer satellites for the next day’s live tournament event each day and also offer a guaranteed $10k seat to the Main Event every day in October.
