2013 WSOP EUROPE KICKS OFF TODAY
The November Nine may still be a month away, but those looking for the bracelet action don't have to wait any longer. Today marks the start of the sixth annual World Series of Poker Europe series and this year's event promises tons of big names, plenty of money up for grabs, and new events in a new locale.

We may have moved from the shores of Cannes, France, but there is still plenty of waterfront real estate in Enghien-les-bains, the Parisian suburb playing host to this year's event.  With a beautiful property situated right on the lake, players need only look up to take in the gorgeous scenery just outside the window.

For most players though, their eyes won't be on the view, it will be on the prize, the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.  This year's series is handing out eight of them, including the first-ever WSOPE High Roller bracelet.

Another first for this year's series is the first-ever WSOP Europe Ladies Event bracelet.  The past couple of years, WSOPE has hosted a non-bracelet ladies event, but this year the women are not just in on the action, they will be kicking things off.  The two-day Ladies event begins Friday at 6pm local time and tomorrow, one lovely lady will become the newest bracelet winner.

We know European women like Elisabeth Hille and Gaelle Baumann can play, but can the European ladies compete with the likes of Player of the Year contender and bracelet winner Loni Harwood?  Harwood is making the trip across the pond to see if she can catch the current leader in our Player of the Year race, Brit Matthew Ashton.  Daniel Negreanu is here for similar reasons, hoping he can replicate the success he found in Australia earlier this year at APAC.

Others seeking to continue their WSOP success are the November Nine, the vast majority of which will be in France to try to get some last-minute time at the tables in before the big show next month.  Chip leader JC Tran scored big in Florida, but none of the nine appear to be running hotter than David Benefield, who has cashed in every single event he has played since making the final table.

You can keep tabs on the November Nine and our POY race right here on WSOP.com.  We'll have live updates of every bracelet event, interviews with some of the players, and plenty of entertainment courtesy of David Tuchman and the livestreaming team, who will be on hand for six of the seven bracelet events.

Be sure to follow us on Twitter @WSOP so you can keep up to date with all of the action and when our livestream will be getting underway.

Today the action begins with the first preliminary bracelet at 5pm and things continue nonstop from there. This weekend boasts an €1,100 re-entry event as well as the first of two Mix-Max tournaments.  Next weekend the big show, the 10,450 Main Event kicks off and will no doubt feature Phil Hellmuth trying to defend his title.

As we said, we have big names, big events, and a beautiful view.  This event will surely be one to remember.
