WSOP-THEMED CUPCAKE WARS EPISODE TO AIR ON FOOD NETWORK TONIGHT!
Poker and pastry chefs...not your typical mix.

But tonight on Food Network, these two ingredients are combined together, as a special World Series of Poker-themed episode of the hit show "Cupcake Wars" is shown.

Check local listings for air times, but in most areas it can be seen at 8 PM ET/PT with an encore performance at midnight.  More details can be found HERE.

In the episode, four renowned pastry chefs compete for the opportunity to attend the 2011 World Series of Poker and cater a cupcake party during the Main Event.

Famed poker professional Annie Duke joins the show as a guest judge to help sample the tasty treats while determining who would best showcase their edible wares at the WSOP.

The winning chef also got the opportunity to meet and mingle with WSOP dealers and celebrity players, including comedians Ray Romano and Brad Garrett, who joined the winning chef onstage alongside Duke for the special "Shuffle Up and Deal" announcement during Day 1C of the 2011 WSOP Main Event.

And as this author can attest, the cupcakes were the equivalent of hitting a Royal Flush...just one delicious treat that was rare indeed.

Enjoy the show and don't forget to tune to ESPN immediately after to catch another exciting episode of the 2011 WSOP Main Event.
