Krivsky Correctly Checks Back Aces

Tomas Krivsky raised from the button to 600,000 and Michal Schuh called out of the big blind.

They saw a flop of    , where Schuh check-called a bet of 425,000.

A   dropped on the turn and again Schuh went into check-call mode when Krivsky fired 950,000.

When the   came on the river, both players decided to check. Schuh tabled    for two pair, and Krivsky flashed    before he mucked.

Vito Branciforte shoved for 2,490,000 from under the gun and Georgios Tsouloftas called on the button.

Branciforte was way behind and looked likely to be the final table bubble boy, especially after the     flop. However, the   turn improved him to a set and left him one card away from a double-up.

Georgios Tsouloftas limped in from the small blind with    and Andrea Ricci checked the big blind holding   .

On the     flop, Tsouloftas bet 300,000, and Ricci called, then they both checked the 6d] turn.

Genc Shabani had stuck his last half a big blind into the pot and both Michal Schuh and Mousa Awad had seen a flop.

The full board came       and at showdown, Awad showed    for a straight. Schuh flashed a   for trips, but Shabani couldn't beat either which meant his tournament run came to an end.

Shabani Left With Crumbs

Mousa Awad raised to 500,000 under the gun and Michal Schuh called in the hijack. Genc Shabani then jammed all in for roughly 3,000,000 on the button.

The blinds quickly folded before Awad called all-in 2,925,000. Schuh got out of the way and the cards were tabled.

Georgios Tsouloftas limped in from the small blind before Andrea Ricci made it 750,000 to go in the big blind. Tsouloftas then jammed all in and Ricci called off his stack of 5,185,000.

Awad didn't like what he saw but gathered some hope on the     flop as he paired his five to take the lead. However, Awad was already half-way to the payout desk when the   dropped on the turn, as Shabani regained his advantage. The rollercoaster runout continued on the river as Awad improved to trips with the  , which kept him alive.

Andrea Ricci raised to 500,000 in middle positon. The short-stacked Erik van Hulst then jammed in for 1,270,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Ricci, who asked for a count and then called.

"Lucky" Schramm Doubles Up

Valentin Schramm jammed all in for 1,050,000 in the cutoff. "You're a lucky guy," Paul Runcan in the big blind claimed before he made the call to put Schramm at risk.

They saw a flop of     where Pham checked, Pflock bet 300,000, and Pham called.

A   dropped on the turn which Pham checked again, and Pflock fired 600,000. Pham shoved, and Pflock called off his remaining 1,200,000 he had behind.

Runcan Wins Two More, Then Doubles Up Shabani

Paul Runcan, the chipleader of the table, jammed all in from under the gun, prompting the entire table to fold. On the next deal, Runcan got a walk in the big blind.

The next hand, it was folded to Runcan again, and he open-shoved his small blind. Genc Shabani spent several time bank extensions before putting in a call for his stack of 1,475,000.

Runcan flopped some extra outs on    , but the   turn made Shabani top pair to take away Runcan's pair opportunites.

The table was audibly rooting for a seven on the river, but the   came instead. Runcan missed his straight draw and Shabani doubled up to 15 big blinds.
