Liu Bubbles the Tournament

Wing Po Liu

Dennis Weiss raised to 55,000 from early position and Wing Po Liu defended from the big blind.

Liu check-called a bet of 40,000 from Weiss on the     flop.

The   came on the turn which Liu checked. Weiss bet 140,000 and Liu check-jammed for 408,000. Weiss thought it over for a few minutes before making the call.

Liu was ahead with his top set of kings and just had to fade a heart on the river to double. However, the dealer peeled of the   on the river to give Weiss the nut flush, and Liu was sent to the rail as the bubble boy of the tournament.

Javakhishvili Shoves in Four-Way Pot

Vakhtang Javakhishvili

In a four-way limped pot to the     flop, Thomas Eychenne bet 50,000 from the cutoff and Vakhtang Javakhishvili called in the small blind, while Victor Dota on the button and big blind Jyri Merivirta got out of the way.

Eychenne bet another 125,000 on the   turn and Javakhishvili again called. The river was the   and Eychenne bet 200,000.

Javakhishvili then moved all in for 513,000. "So sick," Eychenne said as he buried his face in his hands and went deep into the tank, burning through multiple time banks before folding as Javakhishvili took the pot.

Eychenne Check-Raises Kronwitter's River Bet

After Thomas Eychenne checked from the big blind on a board of      , Jonas Kronwitter bet the pot for 73,000 from the button.

Eychenne then check-raised to 225,000, and this prompted Kronwitter to say, 'Ah, I have a full house". Then, after using a few of his time extensions, Kronwitter chose to fold his hand.

Weiss Bullies Eljach Out of the Pot

Dennis Weiss

Omar Eljach raised to 30,000 in the hijack and Dennis Weiss three-bet to 108,000 from the cutoff. Eljach called.

Eljack check-called a bet of 125,000 on the     flop.

The   turn saw Eljach check, and Weiss pot it for roughly 470,000. Eljach had around 750,000 behind and after around a minute, he reluctantly folded.

Eychenne Fires at Kronwitter

Jonas Kronwitter raised to 42,000 in the hijack and Thomas Eychenne called on the button.

The flop came     and Kronwitter bet 45,000. Eychenne called to see the   turn where Kronwitter slowed down and checked. Eychenne then bet 120,000 and Kronwitter called.

Kronwitter Busts Ribeiro; Hand-For-Hand Begins

Tomas Ribeiro and Jonas Kronwitter built a pot of nearly 300,000 as they went heads-up to a flop of    . Kronwitter then moved all in from the small blind and Ribeiro called for his last 150,000 on the button.

Wing Po Liu raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and Sebastian Mortensen defended out of the big blind.

The     flop got checked through for the   to come on the turn. Mortensen checked, Liu bet 30,000 and Mortensen called.

Mortensen led out fo 40,000 on the   river and Liu raised to 140,000. Mortensen thought it over briefly before folding and Liu won another put on the soft bubble.
