Fabio Peluso started the action with a raise to 25,000 from under the gun, and Yannick Jobin called from the button.

Things heated up when Pascal Pflock, sitting on the button, shoved all in. El Yaacoubi folded, leaving Peluso to ask for a count, which came to 150,000. After some thought, Peluso made the call.

All eyes were on Ermanno Di Nicola as the action folded around to him in the small blind. With a fierce determination, he raised to over 200,000, putting Daniel Lakerveld in the big blind in a tough spot—either risk it all or hold out for a better hand.
