Ketzer Spikes the River; Shylko Busts

Felipe Ketzer moved all in for his last 190,000 from early position. Leonard Maue called on the button and called again once Aliaksandr Shylko shoved in the big blind.

The     flop left Shylko in great shape, staying ahead after the   turn. Ketzer was saved by the   river, tripling his stack. Shylko won the small side pot of just 70,000, which he lost one hand later to hit the rail.

Andersson Departs as Barbero Doubles Up

Nacho Barbero got his final 410,000 chips in against Ole Schemion in a preflop confrontation.

Schemion Takes It on the River

Ole Schemion and Santhosh Suvarna had created a large pot of 1,350,000 chips when they arrived on the river on      . Schemion then went all in for 775,000 more from the small blind.

Suvarna did not take long before folding his hand, chipping up Schemion significantly while he was left with just under 30 big blinds himself.

Maue Busts Brewer

Leonard Maue opened from middle position and called when Chris Brewer moved all in from the big blind.

Brewer was in bad shape and could not close ground on the     flop, while the   turn brought a flush draw. The   river was safe for Maue, knocking out Brewer midway through Level 17.

Hagstrom Hits Quads to Triple Up

Jonas Hagstrom

Jonas Hagstrom open-jammed for 225,000 from early position and Jerry Odeen made the call from the cutoff. Laszlo Bujtas then three-bet to 600,000 from the big blind and Odeen spent some time before calling again.

Bujtas spent one time bank extension on the     flop before also going all in for 1,475,000. Odeen asked for a count and called with the covering stack shortly thereafter.

Hagstrom's set had already locked up the pot as all the tens were accounted for. He made quads on the   turn for bragging rights, and he was officially awarded the pot on the   river. Bujtas and Odeen were both okay with splitting the very large side pot and play continued.

Mustafov Secures Another Double-Up

Fahredin Mustafov got all of his 475,000 chips in from the cutoff against Daniel Dvoress on the button preflop.

Hagstrom Left Short

Timothy Adams raised to 75,000 from the cutoff and received a call from big blind Jonas Hagstrom. Adams then continued for the minimum of 30,000 on the     flop and Hagstrom check-called.

Hagstrom checked again on the   turn and Adams fired another 65,000 in the middle. This time, it was enough to let Hagstrom fold, who was left behind with just eight big blinds.

Mulder Doubles Through Kabrhel

Teun Mulder opened to 60,000 on the button before Martin Kabrhel put him to the test by moving all in from the big blind. Mulder did not take long to make the call.

Bujtas Puts the Pressure on Shylko

On a completed board of      , Aliaksandr Shylko checked from the small blind to Laszlo Bujtas in the big blind. Bujtas then jammed all in, covering the 475,000 stack of Shylko.

With around 600,000 in the pot before this, Shylko went deep into the tank. After a few time bank extensions, he opted to fold and grant the pot to Bujtas, who neared the two-million mark after raking in the chips.

One hand later, Axel Hallay departed from this table to bring the field down to four tables remaining.

Bogdanov Busts

Johan Guilbert kicked off the action with a raise to 65,000 from the hijack. Patrik Jaros then called from the button, as did Yulian Bogdanov from the big blind with a very short stack.

The flop of     was checked to Jaros, who made a bet of 65,000. Bogdanov then put in his final 95,000 chips and Guilbert got out of the way before Jaros made the call.

Bogdanov Takes From Dvoress

Yulian Bogdanov checked the turn of a board showing     , making the call from the big blind when Daniel Dvoress fired 70,000 immediately to his left.

Axel Hallay open-jammed for 435,000 chips from early position and Fahredin Mustafov was the only caller, putting his stack of 160,000 at risk.

Five-Bet Sees Dvoress Double Up to Chip Lead

Daniel Dvoress raised from early position before Patrik Jaros made it 150,000 to go from the button. Quan Zhou then came in with a cold four-bet to 400,000 from the small blind before the action was back on Dvoress.

He decided to jam all in for 1,675,000, being covered by Jaros, but covering Zhou. Jaros spent a few minutes in the tank before slamming in the call, after which Zhou open-folded his   .

Barbero Wins Blind Battle

Nacho Barbero called in the small blind and Aliaksandr Shylko checked his big blind option to the     flop.

A bet and call of 25,000 was exchanged to the   turn, where both players checked. Two more checks followed the   river, and the hands were turned up.

Barbero showed   , taking down the pot when Shylko slowly revealed   . Barbero then took down the blinds by moving all in from the button on the next hand to pad his stack a little bit.

Nacho Barbero raised to 50,000 from middle position and the action folded to Axel Hallay, who defended the big blind. Hallay then check-called the 40,000 continuation-bet of Barbero on the     flop before both players checked the   turn.

The   river appeared and Hallay opted to lead out for 130,000 chips. Barbero spent two time bank extensions before making the call, but mucked his cards once he saw the    of his opponent, who had rivered top pair.

Andersson Fires Again

Three-way action on a board showing      saw two checks to Joakim Andersson on the button, who fired 80,000. Leonard Maue folded in the big blind while Jens Lakemeier called in middle position.

The   river saw Maue check again, this time immediately laying down his hand when Andersson continued for 225,000 to take the pot.

At a nearby table, Sirzat Hissou could not topple the pocket    of Timothy Adams, hitting the rail early in the day.
