Rocco Holds On to Double as Pudel Lays Down Aces

Michael Rocco vs Eric Tsai

Nils Pudel raised to 600,000 under the gun and Michael Rocco called in the small blind. Eric Tsai also came along from the big blind.

The flop came     and Pudel bet 550,000. Rocco then raised to 1,400,000 and Tsai called. Pudel tanked for a few minutes before folding   , leaving Rocco and Tsai heads-up to the   turn.

Rocco then moved all in for 4,600,000 and Tsai gave it some thought before calling. He showed    for a pair and flush draw, while Rocco had    for a set of nines.

The   fell on the river and Rocco improved to a full house to earn a double up, knocking the start-of-day chip leader down to a short stack.
