Short Break Before the Action Resumes

The final 22 players were moved to a different section of the poker arena and at the same time, Day 1c of the Mini Main Event went on a break. As a result, the tournament staff gave all contenders in Event #4: €2,000 Pot-Limit Omaha an extended break as well.

In the last hand before the redraw, another pot escalated when Leszek Badurowicz jammed the     flop for what appeared to be 210,000. Isabell Gsuck got out of the way but Samuel Stranak came along with the superior stack.

"Oh, you are ahead," Badurowicz whispered as he was caught stealing. The   turn further improved Stranak to a straight while Badurowicz had outs to a full house. However, the   on the river was a blank and Badurowicz was eliminated prior to the redraw of the last three tables in 23rd place for a payday of €3,769.

The flop read     when all the chips went in for Fredrik Andersson in the big blind for the 170,000 or so he had behind while Manuel Stojanovic re-shoved for around 190,000 from under the gun. Omid Novin made the call from the button with the bigger stack.

Di Nicola Folds After Long Tank

Ian Bradley had raised from under the gun and Ermanno Di Nicola then three-bet the pot to 90,000. Bradley potted to 300,000 and that sent Di Nicola into a deep tank. His stack was a mess and he needed three minutes to make it stacks of 20 before carefully counting nearly chip by chip.

Eventually, the hand lasted seven minutes into the new level already as Bradley then called the clock. Di Nicola was given 30 seconds to act and he folded the      face-up.

Matthias Wieser got it in after a     flop with the      for a pair of aces while Krasimir Yankov held      for a pair of sevens and open-ender. It was Yankov who improved as the board was killed instantly.

At the same time one table over, A three-bet pot to the     flop saw Miha Pirsic jam and pick up a call by Ermanno Di Nicola.

Jaros Turns the Nuts to Bust Gluszko

After his previous table broke, Tomasz Gluszko was forced all-in from the big blind as he had arrived with three T-5,000 chips. Manuel Stojanovic was involved in the action from an early position while Leonid Yanovski in the hijack and Patrik Jaros on the button were also still in the mix.

The     flop was checked by the active players and Yanovski bet the   turn for 20,000. Jaros called and Stojanovic check-called as well. After the   river, the action checked to Jaros and he bet the pot to force two folds.

Marcello Miniucchi had his aces cracked when Isabell Gsuck rivered a set of tens in a battle of the short stacks. Ercuta Eliminated by Fedorenko

Another three all-in and calls brought no elimination once the bubble had burst.

Abdelhakim Zoufri flopped a full house out of the blinds to prevail against aces and then called a raise to 16,000 by Mihai Ercuta. Denys Fedorenko raised the pot and Ercuta got it in for around 90,000, Zoufri folded and Fedorenko called.
