Blazin Blasko Jams Into Boghean

With plenty of chips already in the middle in a battle of the blinds to the      turn, Andrei Boghean checked over to Marek Blasko, who bet 70,000 and was called. On the   river, Boghean checked once more and Blasko moved all in for around 124,000.

Boghean folded and Blasko flashed his cards to a friend one table over. "You can almost make a straight with that, right?" he joked and then showed the    to everyone on his table.

Finger Left Short; Rous Eliminated

Martin Finger

Kristen Bicknell raised to 5,000 in the cutoff and Martin Finger three-bet to 17,200 on the button, which was called by big stack Robert Skopalik in the small blind and initial raiser Bicknell. On the     flop, action checked to Finger and he continued for 17,000, this time only Skopalik called.

The   turn was checked through and Skopalik also checked the   river. Finger bet 75,000 with 22,000 behind and Skopalik moved all in to force a very expensive fold from Finger, Skopalik flashed    for a full house.

Two tables over, another Czech was involved in the action and that happened to be Tomas Rous. He moved all in after the      turn and Norbert Szecsi snap-called from one seat over. Rous turned over    for the nutflushdraw and Szecsi held the    for top pair and top kicker. The   river was a blank and Rous busted just before the dinner break.

Johansson Pounds on Veiga

In a three-bet pot, Anton Johansson had bet the     flop and Diogo Veiga had called in position. On the   turn, Johansson checked, Veiga bet 35,000, and Johansson check-raised all in for 212,000.

Veiga was agonizing over it and laid it down after three minutes. Multiple people at the table, with Vladimir Troyanovskiy being the loudest of them all, begged Johansson to show. The Swede made a few gestures of wanting to show, but ultimately left the onlookings hanging and mucked face-down.

McNulty Nearly Triples

Anatoly Filatov opened to 6,000 from under the gun and Sean McNulty just called directly to his left. Oswin Ziegelbecker three-bet to 28,000 from the cutoff and Filatov made the call. McNulty was sitting on a stack of 60,000 and pushed all in which allowed Ziegelbecker to shove over the top. Filatov asked for a count but elected to fold to Zieglebecker's shove of 188,700.

Sean McNulty:
Oswin Ziegelbecker:

It was a classic race with McNulty holding the slight edge. The flop came     leaving McNulty in the lead. The   on the turn and the   on the river was no help to Ziegelbecker and McNulty dragged in a healthy pot.

Kempe Doubles Through Sekularac

Rainer Kempe

A raise and a call were followed by the three-bet of Ognjen Sekularac in the small blind, who made it 27,000 to go. Rainer Kempe in the big blind gave it some thought and eventually moved all in for 133,500, which forced out the initial raiser and Will Givens on the button. Sekularac made the call and Kempe held the superior pocket pair in showdown.

Rainer Kempe:
Ognjen Sekularac:

The     all but locked up the double for the German and things were made official on the   turn, the   river was insignificant.

"Wow, I had king queen of hearts," Givens said in table chat.
