Two Bustouts in a Row

Koray Aldemir

The cards of Koray Aldemir were already in the muck while his stack was counted, and he ended up covered by Winfred Yu. The cards of Yu were still showing with    and the board of       and Rainer Kempe confirmed that Yu had open-shoved for more than 4,000,000 on the button, Aldemir called with    off suit.

Yu folded the next hand and admitted that he had miscounted his stack and thought he moved all in for just 20 big blinds.

The next hand brought another all in and call, as Mikita Badziakouski raised and called the three-bet shove of Chris Ferguson for 1,370,000.

Feature Table: A Big One for Loeser

Manig Loeser raised to 250,000 from the early position with    and was called by Ognjen Sekularac in the hijack with   .

The flop came     to provide Loeser with the open-ended straight draw but Sekularac was still ahead with his pocket pair of sixes. Loeser continued with a bet of 350,000, Sekularac looked at his cards once more before raising to 800,000. Loeser contemplated for a few seconds before making the call.

The turn was the   which now gave Loeser some extra outs as he picked up the flush draw. Loeser now checked and Sekularac bet 875,000. Loeser checked how much Sekularac had behind, took another look at his hand and then decided to shove. Sekularac snap-folded.

Kisacikoglu Runs Into Kings

Matthias Eibinger raised to 325,000 on the button and Orpen Kisacikoglu shoved all in for around 3,500,000 out of the big blind. Eibinger instantly stuck in chips to call and was crushing Kisacikoglu's hand.

The flop came     to provide Loeser with top pair with the eights. Adams checked, Manig continued with a bet which Adams called.

Troyanovskiy Takes Care of Leow

Vladimir Troyanovskiy made it 275,000 to go and Ivan Leow three-bet all in from one seat over. The rest of the table folded and Troyanovskiy asked for a count. Leow was all in for 1,890,000 and the Russian indeed called.

Kempe Sends Kanit Packing

Catching the tail end of the hand between Rainer Kempe and Mustapha Kanit, it appeared the two players got all of the chips in the middle prelfop. Kanit was the player at risk in the cutoff while Kempe was enjoying his heater in the hijack.

Gonzalez Shrinks the Field

Fabrizio Gonzalez raised to 255,000 in early position and Ole Schemion pushed all in for 805,000 in the small blind. Gonzalez asked for a count and then made the call to put Schemion at risk.

Addamo Forces Out Schemion; Chen Triples

James Chen was already all in and at risk while Michael Addamo and Ole Schemion in the blinds played for the side pot. On the      turn, Addamo bet 300,000 and Schemion called with 805,000 behind.

Addamo jammed the   river and Schemion reluctantly surrendered.

Addamo turned over the    for a busted draw and Chen tripled with the   .

"Yessss, I put you on that hand. The only way I could win, Mike," Chen said in table chat. He remains short, however, and needs another triple or double up to get back into contention.

Asaf Berman limped in from under the gun with    and Rainer Kempe did the same from the cutoff with   . Koray Aldemir opted to check his big blind holding   

The flop came    , Aldemir checked, Berman bet 215,000 which only Kempe called.

The turn brought them the   and now Berman checked. Kempe took over the initiative and lead out for 640,000. Berman tanked while riffling chips, counting out calling chips but then folded after about 90 seconds.

Teoh Can't Win a Flip

Vladimir Troyanovskiy opened to 275,000 from early position and Paul Teoh stuck in the last of his 640,000 chips on the button. The action came back to Troyanovskiy who made an easy call.

Yap Doubles Through Chen

James Chen had shoved several times in the last level without being called and just did so again for 1,555,000 from middle position. Jun Wah Yap called on the button and the blinds got out of the way.

Rainer Kempe raised to 260,000 from the button and David Peters called in the big blind.

The flop came    , Peters checked and Kempe continued with a bet of 200,000 which Peters called.

Adams Asserting Dominance

Just moments after sending Johannes Becker to the rail, Timothy Adams was at it again applying pressure to his opponents. Gianluca Speranza opened to 225,000 from under the gun and Adams re-raised to 700,000 in the hijack. Speranza called and the two players went heads-up to the flop.

The dealer spread the flop of     and Speranza started with a check. Adams tossed in a bet of 425,000 and Speranza wasted little time before sending his cards to the muck.

Winfred Yu raised from under the gun and was called by Asaf Berman in the cutoff. Jan-Eric Schwippert did the same from the big blind.
