Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 450,000 in the cutoff and Pavel Binar three-bet all in for 1,435,000 on the button, Thorel folded.

Soon after, Thorel raised to 500,000 and Jun Wah Yap shoved for 3,090,000. Timothy Adams asked for a count from one seat over and called, the rest of the table including Thorel folded.

Kabrhel Doubles Through Loeser

Martin Kabrhel defended his big blind against a button raise by Manig Loeser and checked the     flop. Loeser continued for 495,000 and Kabrhel check-raised to 2,000,000 with 450,000 behind. Loeser moved all in and Kabrhel called.

Gianluca Speranza shoved from under the gun for 1,005,000 and was called by Dominik Nitsche in the big blind.

Gonzalez Bubbles in Sickening Fashion

The action folded around to Manig Loeser in the small blind who shipped all in for over 8,000,0000. Fabrizio Gonzalez was in the big blind with around 5,200,000 and it was clear he had a big decision to make. He eyed up Loeser's stack and thought for a couple of minutes before making the call.

Gonzalez was in a great position to double up with a dominating ace preflop. However, the flop fell     and Loeser picked up a pair of deuces. The   on the turn and the   on the river sent a stunned Gonzalez to the rail on the money bubble.

Nitsche Takes More Away from Addamo

During the second round of hand-for-hand play, Michael Addamo raised to 400,000 from the hijack with    but Dominik Nitsche found    in the cutoff and three-bet to 1,400,000. Everyone quickly folded to Addamo who checked how much Nitsche had behind and then made the call.

The flop came    , Addamo quickly checked, Nitsche checked his cards again and lead out for 825,000. Addamo tanked for almost a minute, checked his cards again, and then folded.

Kempe Not Scared on the Bubble

During the first round of hand-for-hand play, Rainer Kempe raised to 425,000 from the hijack with    and Michael Addamo called in the cutoff with   .

The flop came    , Kempe continued with a bet of 450,000 and Addamo raised to 1,200,000. Kempe considered his options and decided to three-bet to 3,100,000. Addamo contemplated for a bit and decided to give up.

Bleg Busts to Thorel

Jun Wah Yap raised to 450,000 and Timothy Adams three-bet to 1,000,000 from one seat over. Jean-Noel Thorel in the big blind squeezed to 2,500,000 with 3,800,000 behind and that forced out Yap. Adams was having none of it and moved all in, Thorel reluctantly folded.

Exactly one hand later, Michael Bleg moved all in for what appeared to be 1,500,000. Thorel in the small blind moved all in over the top to isolate successfully and set up the following showdown.

Bleg flopped the world on    , but the   turn and   river were both blanks to reduce the field to the final 21. Once the tables are balanced, the action will continue hand-for-hand on the money bubble.

Yu Straightens Out Pollak

James Romero limped in on the button which invited Benjamin Pollak to come along from the small blind and Winfred Yu checked his option in the big blind. The flop came     and the action checked around to the   on the turn.

Pollak checked again and Yu tossed in a bet of 400,000. Romero quickly folded but Pollak called to see the   on the river. Pollak checked again and Yu slid in a bet of 1,200,000. Pollak thought for a minute and looked over at Yu before making the call. Yu flipped over    for a straight and Pollak sent his cards to the muck.

After they had both checked through the turn, Speranza checked in the big blind on the river and Adams bet 900,000 from the hijack. Speranza shoved, having Adams covered, Adams tanked holding the winning hand with the turned trip kings. Adams counted out his chips and then decided to put his tournament life at risk by calling after considering it for about three minutes. Adams doubled up for the 4,760,000 he had behind.

Niall Farrell moved all in for around 1,200,000 and Fabrizio Gonzalez called out of the blinds to create the following showdown.

The board came       left the defending champion drawing dead on the turn and Gonzalez rivered the nut straight for good measure to deal the final blow.

One table was still active right before the three-table redraw. Michael Addamo had defended against Rainer Kempe and check-called a bet of 500,000 on the     flop. On the   turn, both players checked and Addamo bet the   river for 700,000, one third of the pot. Kempe eventually called and mucked when Addamo rolled over the    for a flush.

Badziakouski Pushing Stacks

Winfred Yu raised to 350,000 from under the gun and was called by Jean-Noel Thorel in the small blind and Mikita Badziakouski in the big blind. The flop came     and the action checked to Yu who continued for 325,000. Thorel check-raised to 800,000 and Badziakouski flat-called while Yu folded.

The turn brought the   and both players checked to the   on the river. Thorel checked again and Badziakouski announced a bet of 2,800,000. He pushed stacks of chips forward to equal the bet and Thorel leaned back in his chair with his hand covering his face. He thought for a few seconds but then slid his cards to the muck, sending the pot to Badziakouski.

The turn brought them the   which gave both Speranza and Rudolph the gutshot to a straight but Sekularac was still ahead with the pair of kings. Sekularac bet 390,000, Speranza called after contemplating for a while but Rudolph folded.

The   on the river gave Speranze trip sixes to jump ahead of Sekularac's pair of kings. Sekularac bet 520,000 which sent Speranza into the tank. Speranza responded with a shove to put Sekularac at risk. Sekularac counted his stack, tanked a bit longer, and then decided to make the call after tanking for a bit more than three minutes. Sekularac quickly left the stage when he saw he was beat and Speranza calmly stacked up his new chips.
