Viatcheslav Ortynskiy raised to 12,000 under the gun and Eldert Soer three-bet from the big blind to 18,000. Ortynskiy called.

Bojang Cuts Alioto's Lead

Dario Alioto raised to 12,000 under the gun and Ismael Bojang defended in the big blind.

The flop came     and Bojang check-called for 15,000. The turn was the  , meaning now no low was possible, and Bojang checked to Alioto. Alioto thought long and hard before betting 20,000. Bojang counted out his stack before check-raising all in and Alioto quickly mucked his hand.

Early Double For Esposito

With the day barely two minutes oldwe had our first all in between Tobias Hausen      and Fabio Esposito     .

The board ran out       giving Esposito a wheel, good enough to take down the hi and the low.

Alioto Holds Overwhelming Chip Lead on Event #7: €1,650 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo Day 2

Dario Alioto

Dario Alio will come into Day 2 of Event #7: €1,640 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo more than 240,000 chips ahead of his nearest rival, a figure which equates to 40 big blinds.

Alioto will be hoping for more confrontations like the ones he had yesterday, including a memorable hand where he flopped top house to eliminate two players, a hand which saw him take over the chip lead.

However, the Italian will not have it all his own way with a wealth of experienced players waiting in the wings. Chris Ferguson, Mike Leah and John Racener will battle it out amongst themselves for bragging rights instalmentst installment of the POY race, while the likes of Phil Hellmuth and Ismael Bojang will also be on the hunt for WSOPE glory.

Just 18 players resume play today at 13:00, and the plan is to play down to a final table of eight. There will be redraws at 16 and 9 players.
