Benny Spindler raised to 40,000 and Ravi Raghavan called from the big blind. The flop brought and both players checked. On the turn the hit and Raghavan bet 60,000 into Spindler who made the call.
On the river the hit and Raghavan bet 150,000. Spindler went into the tank for a while but eventually he decided to let this hand go.
After this hand Spindler had 886,000 chips left while Raghavan now sits on 958,000.

Benny Spindler raised to 40,000 from the under-the-gun position and Jerome Huge called from the big blind. The flop brought out and Huge checked to Spindler who bet 25,000. Huge check-raised to 50,000 total after about 30 seconds and the action was back on Spindler who quickly called.
On the turn the hit and Huge checked again to Spindler who bet 25,000 again. This time Huge called and on the river the hit. Huge bet 45,000 and Spindler went into the tank for just ten seconds before moving all in.
Huhge folded and Spindler got back some chips after dropping quite a lot in the first few hands. Spindler’s back on 1,071,000 while Huge was left with 401,000.

Adrian Mateos raised to 45,000 and he picked up the blinds and antes.

Benny Spindler raised to 50,000 from the small blind and Fabrice Soulier three-bet to 115,000 from the big blind. Spindler has been active in almost every hand but he decided to let this one go.

Benny Spindler raised to 40,000 and Fabrice Soulier fought back again with a three-bet to 115,000. Spindler decided to fold once again and Soulier picked up his second pot in a row.

Frenchman Jerome Huge is the unknown quantity at today’s table.
Along with Fabrice Soulier, Huge carries the hopes of the home nation with him today. This is his first recorded live cash, so it’ll be interesting to see how he copes with the pressure of playing at a TV table, under the lights and with poker sharks swimming around him.

Fabrice Soulier raised to 45,000 preflop from the hijack and Dominik Nitsche called in the cutoff.
Jerome Huge called in the big blind.
The flop was Huge checked, Soulier bet 85,000 and both the other players folded.
First blood to France!

Fabrice Soulier raised to 45,000 from under-the-gun. Benny Spindler called in the big blind.
The flop was Spindler checked and Soulier bet 40,000. Spindler check-raised to 90,000 and Soulier made the call.
The turn was the and Spindler led out for 125,000 and Soulier called again.
The river was the Spindler spent a long time debating his options before he elected to bet 300,000. Soulier called fairly quickly with and won a huge pot.

Dominik Nitsche raised to 50,000 preflop and Adrian Mateos reraised to 130,000 in the seat next to him. Benny Spindler put in a cold four-bet to 280,000 from the small blind.
Nitsche then put in a five-bet to 440,000. Mateos and Spindler both folded instantly.

Ravi Raghavan is the sole representative from the United States and, coming in as the shortest stack, has his work cut out to keep the title in his homeland.
The American pro is no stranger to success on the baize though. He has the chance to take his live tournament earnings past the $3 million today and add a bracelet to his 13 WSOP cashes and WPT title.

After two weeks and eight star-studded bracelet events, the World Series of Poker Europe festival has reached the final day. And what better way to finish that to crown the Main Event champion?
Yesterday was something special, witnessing Daniel Negreanu win the Player of the Year title in style by clinching the High Roller Event.
Nothing beats being a World Series Main Event champion though, and one of six players will have that honor later today.
The “Friday Six” are led by a young man from Spain. Adrian Mateos stormed through the penultimate day to lead with 3.78 million. His job is no easy task today though. Some of Europe’s best have their own agenda and are here to win as much as he is.
