The cards are back in the air for the third day of play! The blinds are 1,200/2,400 with a 400 ante as just 69 players remain. In total 40 players will get paid today and the plan is to play down to the final 16.

The remaining 69 players return to Day 3 of the WSOP Europe Main Event today with one clear goal in mind: make it to the final 16.
Dominik Nitsche is the only player past half a million chips and he leads a (still) star-studded field all hoping to follow in Phil Hellmuth’s footsteps, who busted yesterday.
Ludovic Lacay is going a long way to banishing the memories of losing heads-up for a bracelet a few day ago; Benny Spindler is helping Nitsche create predictably German flavor at the top of the leaderboard and Fabrice Soulier is carrying the hopes of the home crowd.
Thursday is a day off the Main Event, a rest day for the “Friday Eight” as Mike Leah has coined them. The delayed finale will give them a chance to get coaching, look for corporate sponsorship and, okay, maybe not. This is not the November Nine we’re talking about here!
