Event #49: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em

The players have been announced and the dealer is now busy shuffling the cards. The final table is underway!

Robin Ylitalo raised it up to 60,000 from early position and Barny Boatman made a three bet behind him. That was when all the action started as Paul Dasilva pushed allin and Michael Quick behind him pushed all in as well. Action folded to Ylitalo who quickly folded. Boatman needed a little more time to think and leaned back. Quick, who's been enjoying himself all day and has had a big smile the entire time, said "This is a big moment for me". Boatman eventually folded and soon everyone found out what the hands were.

Quick, who was at risk for 595,000 total, had   . Dasilva had slightly more than that and tabled   . The dealer didn't make a whole show about it and rapidly burned and put the cards on the table:     |   |  . It went so fast that it took a mili second for Quick to realize that his opponent had backed doored a flush. "Nice hand" he said like a true gentleman.

There's now just nine players left who can all brag on facebook, twitter, instagram, iMessage and all other sorts of new communication that they've made a World Series of Poker final table. Some of them even grabbed their phone and actually called home to let them know. Others celebrated the old fashion way, with people in person on the rail.

Noah Sandler made it 65,000 to go from early position and action folded to Taras Kripps in the big blind. Kripps raised it up to 130,000 and Sandler made the call. Kripps made a 130,000 continuation-bet on     and Sandler made the call. The turn was the   and Kripps gave up. He checked and folded to Sandler's 200,000 bet.

Things haven't been going to well for Michael Perrone. Just now he lost another sizable pot. From middle position he raised it up to 50,000 and he pushed all in after Aditya Prasetyo had made it 125,000. Prasetyo made the call and it was clear that there was a cooler situation going on. Aditya Prasetyo tabled    while Michael Perrone had a monster, though slightly smaller, of his own:   .

No ace or other winning combination for Perrone with     |   |   on the table. Perrone now slips into the danger zone, while Prasetyo has a lot more breathing room all of the sudden.

Taras Kripps raised it up to 50,000 from the button and he called as Brian O'Donoghue made it 125,000 to go from the small blind. O'Donoghue would bet all the streets and Kripps would call all of them. O'Donoghue bet 80,000 on the     flop, 145,000 on the   turn and 175,000 on the   river. Kripps called it off but had to muck as O'Donoghue showed    for the nuts.

Right after the big hand he lost against Barny Boatman, Frenchman Valentin Messina is busted from the tournament. He shoved all in for 114,000 under-the-gun and was looked up by Michael "Mike" perrone in the big blind. Messina had the better hand with    but Perrone's    would win the hand.

Till the river there was nothing going on but that last community card hit Perrone:     |   |  . Messina takes home $24,449, all other players are guaranteed $31,153 at this point.

Valentin Messina raised it up to 40,000 under-the-gun and with Michael Quick still missing (bathroom break), action was quickly folded to Barny Boatman on the button. He made it 100,000 to go and action was on Van Tran in the small blind. He announced all in for 255,000 rather fast and the big blind and Messina folded immediately. Boatman laughed, like he was caught with his hand in the cookie jar, but eventually made the call because of the good prize he was getting.

"You had to have a pair?" Boatman laughed as Tran showed   . Boatman himself would be fighting an uphill battle with the mere   . "What?" Van Tran screamed. Some players at the table saw a bad beat coming but Tran was saved from that trauma in the making:     |   |  .

Boatman gave himself, literally, a slap on the wrist, and continued with about 600,000 in chips.

From middle-position Michael Perrone shoved all in. Greg Oleson in the small blind called all in for 165,000 and the big blind folded.
