Hands 175-178: Markholt Closing The Gap Even More

Hand #175: Lee Markholt raised to 120,000 on the button and Erick Lindgren called from the big blind. They checked to the turn of a      board where Markholt bet 125,000. Lindgren folded.

Hand #176: Erick Lindgren raised to 120,000 on the button and Lee Markholt defended his big blind. They checked to the river of a       board where Markholt bet 150,000. Lindgren took a few moments before he called, but mucked when Markholt tabled   .

Hand #177: Lee Markholt raised to 120,000 on the button. Erick Lindgren three-bet to 350,000 from the big blind and Markholt folded.

Hand #178: Erick Lindgren raised to 120,000 on the button and Lee Markholt called from the big blind. They checked to the turn of a      board where Lindgren bet 125,000. Markholt called and the   river completed the board. Both checked and Markholt took down the pot with    for two pair.

Hands 172-174: Markholt Closing the Gap

Hand #172: Lindgren raised his button to 120,000, but mucked when Markholt upped it to 320,000.

Hand #173: Markholt limped in and Lindgren checked his option, bringing a     flop on board. After Lindgren checked, Markholt bet 110,000, and Lindgren flatted to see the   fall on the turn. Lindgren checked a second time, and Markholt continued to fire away, this time for 320,000. The man known as "E-Dog" studied the board for thirty seconds, before plunking a stack in to make the call. On the   river, Lindgren checked one more time, and Markholt obliged with a bet of 565,000. Lindgren assessed the size of his own stack for a moment, but released his hand with a rueful grin on his face.

Hand #174: Lindgren opened for the standard min-raise to 120,000, and Markholt tossed out a call. On the     flop, Markholt tapped the table, prompting Lindgren to fire 150,000 into the middle. That was all it took to take the pot down.

Lee Markholt Doubles Through Erick Lindgren

Hand #171: Lee Markholt raised to 120,000 on the button and Erick Lindgren called from the big blind. Lindgren checked the     flop and Markholt bet 110,000. Lindgren raised all in and Markholt called all in immediately for 1,080,000.

Hand #168: Lindgren folded his button, giving Markholt a walk in the big blind.

Hand #169: Markholt returned the favor, and Lindgren went for a walk.

Hand #170: Lindgren's opening raise of 120,000 was called, and the flop came    . Markholt checked to Lindgren, and "E-Dog" fired a bet of 125,000 into the middle. Markholt slid a stack forward for a raise, making it 325,000 to play, and Lindgren flatted to see the   arrive on the turn. Markholt checked it, and Lindgren made a small bet of 275,000, which pushed Markholt off the hand.

Hand #165: With the button in front of him, Markholt opened to 100,000. Lindgren came along, and a flop of     was spread across the felt. Lindgren checked to Markholt, who bet 100,000. Lindgren announced a raise to 300,000, and Markholt quickly released.

Hands 160-164: Markholt Fighting Back

Hand #160: Erick Lindgren raised to 100,000 on the button and Lee Markholt called from the big blind. The flop came down     and Markholt check-called 125,000 from Lindgren, landing the   turn. Both checked to see the   river which Markholt bet 255,000 at. Lindgren folded.

Hand #161: Lee Markholt raised to 100,000 on the button. Erick Lindgren called from the big blind and the flop fell    . Lindgren checked, Markholt bet 100,000, and Lindgren called. The   landed on the turn and was checked by both. Lindgren bet 100,000 after the   river and Markholt called. His cards weren't announced, but he won the pot with a pair of queens.

On the   turn, both players checked down, and the   came on the river. A bet of 100,000 by Lindgren gave Markholt something to think about, and he studied the board while playing with a chip, but eventually he mucked his hand.

Hand #150: Markholt raised to 100,000 from the button, and Little quickly shoved all in for roughly 935,000. Lindgren immediately moved all in over the top, with his big stack, and Markholt got out of the way for the two to battle it out.

Lindgren woke up with a monster in a three-handed game, and his pair put him way out in front of Little's ace-high hand. With the crowd roaring on both sides of the Mothership stage, each half rooting for their horse, the dealer burned and turned.

Flop:    

Little found a pair on the flop, but he still needed help on the subsequent streets. The   on the turn gave Little additional outs to the wheel straight, but the   was a brick, and he headed for the payout desk in 3rd place.

Hands 140-142: Little Falling

Hand #140: Trying to take control of this final table after his recent win, Lindgren raised his button to 100,000 and Little called. Lindgren bet 125,000 on the     flop, and Little flatted. When the   arrived on the turn, it was checked to Lindgren again, and once more he bet, this time for 225,000. Little called to see the   fall on the river. Little checked a third time, and Lindgren fired a third barrel of 350,000. Little tanked briefly, before looking Lindgren up, but "E-Dog" revealed the    for a straight on the turn.

Hand #141: Markholt opened for 100,000 from the button, and Lndgren flatted to see a flop of     hit the felt. After Lindgren checked, Markholt won the pot with a 100,000 c-bet.

Hand #142: Little opened for 100,000 on the button, Lindgren mucked, and Markholt readjusted himself in his chair before making the call. On the     flop, Markholt tapped the table, and Little did the same. The   came on the turn, and Markholt checked again, prompting another 100,000 wager by Little. Markholt flatted to see the   hit the board on the river, and they checked down, with    taking it down for Markholt.
